We are based on the 12 Step support model for recovery. This model is a widely used tool for spiritual and personal growth and can help current or former friends, family members, or spouses of sex addicts build the tools necessary to live healthy and happy lives. Through working the Steps, our members find the tools and resources to begin and maintain their recovery. While there is no guaranteed way to help your loved one stop their compulsive behaviors, S-Anon can help you learn how to cope with the difficult emotions, challenges, and trials of dealing with a loved one’s sex addiction. Our program offers addiction support for families and friends of sex addicts to help them recover from their impact and build a support network to help each other find spiritual support for their healing process.

We've all been hurt by other people, ourselves, and others. As a result, we all end up with some sort of hurt, hang-up, or habit. The purpose of the Celebrate Recovery (CR) ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles*. This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life's problems. By working and applying these biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Savior - Jesus Christ. CR is not just for people with addictions. It's for everyone - and you do not have to be a member of Cornerstone Community Church to attend. There is no pre-registration or sign-up necessary, either. CR is a volunteer program where you may choose to participate in all that is offered, or, simply attend the main program.

WeTonglen is a safe community for partners and ex-partners of porn, sex, and love addicts to share their stories of healing and hope, and find comfort and resources to aid on the journey of mending our broken hearts. At WeTonglen, we believe sex addiction is a deep-seated intimacy disorder created by early life attachment wounds in the addict. After the discovery of sex addiction, we support partners and ex-partners as they experience deeply distressing and traumatic reactions, also known as betrayal trauma. We do not believe the partner or ex-partner of a sex addict is to blame for causing or contributing to the addict’s acting-out behavior. Victim-blaming, collusion with the addict’s gaslighting, and blame-shifting to focus on the supposed contribution of the partner to the addict’s dysfunction can be retraumatizing to partners. WeTonglen is based on the perspective of Dr. Rob Weiss and Dr. Kim Buck’s Prodependence, a model based in the field of attachment science, which does not pathologize partners as inherently damaged individuals, but instead affirms partners as relatively healthy people responding to an incredibly stressful situation.

The VALOR series for Teens and Young Adult Men is the result of ongoing clinical work with adolescents and college-aged young men since 2007. This group is specifically designed for teenage boys who struggle with compulsive use of pornography and/or other sexual behaviors. Our program offers concepts and tools for achieving sobriety and stands out for three key reasons:

  • We have a structured system that helps participants easily track their progress.
  • Our program fosters a high level of collaboration among therapists, ensuring coordinated care.
  • We continuously update the program to align with the latest science and research.
The program includes a comprehensive set of handouts and achievement milestones that help young men understand and manage their compulsive behaviors. We have a finely tuned system that is engaging and effective. Participants advance through "Ranks," and responsibilities and rewards are built into the system to keep them motivated.
